Teacher Certification Program
The following Social Studies major is for teaching certification only. Requirements for certification are listed in the Education section of the Bulletin.
In addition to a Social Studies advisor, you will have a second advisor in the Education Department. Teacher candidates must make formal application for admittance to the Teacher Education Program. Applications are available at the Education Department office.
Students will also complete portfolio of their work and a research project.
