Professional Development for Teacher Education
The following courses comprise the professional core for education. All students seeking teacher certification in Kinder - 12th in music or physical education and secondary education certification for content areas in 7th - 12th grades are required to complete all courses unless otherwise specified.
EDUC 254 is not required for Physical Education majors.
RELT 201 Bible Study Methods, RELH 230 History of the SDA Church, and EDUC 385 are required for a Seventh-day Adventist teaching credential, and they are not required for State of Texas teacher certification.
