Teacher Certification Program
The following History major is for teaching certification only. Requirements for certification are listed in the Education section of this Bulletin.
In addition to a HIstory advisor, you will have a second advisor in the Education Department. Teacher candidates must make formal application for admittance to the Teacher Education Program. Applications are available at the Education Department office.

Students will also complete a senior portfolio which includes a thesis paper.
