NURS 316 : RN-BSN Gerontological Nursing

Explores the process of aging from a whole-person perspective, addressing the older adults’ unique physical, mental, spiritual, and sociocultural needs. Consideration is given to political, legal, social, economic, ethical, and end-of-life factors. Emphasis is on the application of evidence-based practice concepts that support individualized healthy aging.
