BUAD 472 : Business Policies and Strategies

Subject to prior permission of department chair. An integrative capstone course that explains what policies are, how they relate to strategies, and how a manager builds a strategic dimension into his or her actions. Any problem or opportunity - accounting, management, marketing, finance, production, organizational, personnel or other organizational dimensions - if it materially affects a firm's performance, is of strategic concern. The Peregrine Business Administration Common Professional Component exam is taken and student participates in the Business Strategy Game simulation. Portfolio requirement and completion is covered.
